Danny Virtue

Legendary stuntman, producer, horse trainer, director, and philanthropist

He leaves behind a towering legacy in film, his charity work and in his community. From co-creating the groundbreaking series Neon Rider to coordinating stunts on global hits like War for the Planet of the Apes and Jurassic World: Dominion, Danny’s artistry and courage shaped Canadian filmmaking and inspired colleagues worldwide. At his beloved Virtue Studio Ranch in Mission, B.C., he built not only a hub for productions, but also a sanctuary for children and animals through the Virtue Foundation, which for over two decades offered hope, joy and excitement with “A Day at the Ranch.”

Honored with the Peter Ustinov Humanitarian Award, Leo Awards, the BC Creates Community Award and, most recently, the King Charles III Coronation Medal, Danny was as celebrated for his generosity and compassion as for his professional achievements.

Danny was and will always remain an integral pillar to the stunt community. He will be remembered as a true pioneer, mentor, and friend whose impact will endure on screen and in the hearts of all he touched.
